T4T model train automation offers a brand new dimension to HO digital model railroading.

Manage a train as one unit.

T4T removes the need for multiple digital controllers to operate the functions of a train.

The TCCS (TrainCoupling&CommunicationSystem) treats the train as one unit and allows you to control all train functions (lights, couplings) using only one DCC address - the locomotive's decoder address.

How does it work?

Based on consistent coupling for HO vehicles and in accordance with NEM 362 T4T's remotely controlled conducting coupling TC-HO (TrainConnectionHO) connects all cars so that cars even without sliders are supplied power via the locomotive's decoder.

Similarly, cars with power pick up can also feed the locomotive.

Trailing cars are equipped with function decoders which are connected to and controlled by the loco's own decoder depending on its position in the set and its functions.

TC-HO provides mechanical, electric and data connection to each car plus data transfer into the tracks for all vehicles allowing for track-busy-messsages.

Each vehicle transmits data of its position to the tracks by using the IR-diode.

The train's length, speed and position are also automatically calculated as a navigational means for PC programs.

All manufacturer's DCC-driver consoles are supported. Compatible with LISSY, Train Navigation and TRAM.

Control train's lighting.

The TC-HO allows you to switch on or off the loco's lights and the cars' lights via the one control.

For example, only the tail lights on the last car are activated; or if cars are uncoupled, the last car always activates its tail lights.

TC-HO automatically identifies the order in which the vehicles are assembled without the need to adjust an individual car's controls.

More powerful car decoders allow more function outputs and even allow for entire light bars in passenger cars even if the cars do not have sliders.

Decoders are equipped with an energy saver to provide constant power thus preventing juddering or flickering lights when passing over points, dirt and other dead spots.

Other car functions can also be controlled separately.

Coupling and uncoupling functions.

TC-HO allows for automatic digital coupling and uncoupling of vehicles at any given position (up to about 800mm track radius).

The loco's DCC address is used to allow you to uncouple any given car from within the set smoothly - especially for conductive coupling.

Appropriate tail lighting functions are activated accordingly.

Multi traction.

The T4T-trainbus data link allows for multiple tractions with an arbitrary number of locomotives without matching control panel function.

Double-headers or multiple drivers are automatically controlled by the leading engine.

Choose a decoder.

The following parts are available for your T4T model train automation:

TCCS Start Set; couplers; wagon decoders 2 or 4 functions; Loco decoders; energy storage modules; cables; wagon light decoders (for up o 8 LEDs).
